For car park and clamping operators

Clampfather

An offer no overstayer can refuse.

The AI camera that times every parked car and flags overstays the moment they happen, with evidence attached. Catch more overstays, send patrols only when there is something to enforce, and make every clamp easier to defend.

What slips through today

When patrols only pass by every so often, part of the business is lost along the way.

Overstays nobody sees

Cars that overstay and leave between patrols never get clamped.

Patrols with nothing to do

Every visit to a car park with no breaches is time, fuel and van miles wasted.

Appeals that are lost

21,000 appeals were lodged in 2025 and drivers won almost 1 in 4 (5,100). Without clear proof of how long a car was parked, it is your word against theirs.

Costly barriers that measure the wrong thing

A barrier, cabling and groundworks at every entrance, and they still count gate to gate, not real time in the bay.

How Clampfather improves your numbers

It watches the spaces, not the gates: every car is timed from the moment it parks and every overstay is flagged with evidence.

More overstays caught

The camera never looks away. Catching an overstay no longer depends on a patrol passing at the right moment.

Patrols with a purpose

Staff head out when the panel flags an overstay, knowing which car, which bay and since when. Fewer blind miles.

Clamps that stand up

Every overstay is logged with a snapshot, arrival time and duration: the evidence you need when an appeal comes in.

More sites, same team

No barriers, no groundworks: one mounting point, power and 4G or PoE. Cover more car parks without adding patrols.

Clampfather in action

The prototype software processing footage from two real scenes: a busy car park and a street lined with parking bays.

Use case: a busy car park
Demo: a real street with parking bays
  • Green: parked within limit
  • Amber: over 75% of the limit
  • Flashing red: limit exceeded, alert on the panel
  • Grey: vehicle moving or being evaluated
  • Side panel: clock, counters and a log of alerts, arrivals and departures

The demo runs on an accelerated clock: one second of video equals one real minute. In operation, the system runs on real time.

How it works

  1. We install the camera

On a pole or a wall, overlooking the spaces. No barriers, no groundworks.

  2. Every car gets a timer

It detects vehicles, knows when they are parked and gives each one its own timer. You set the maximum stay and the early warning.

  3. Overstays flagged with evidence

Once the limit is passed, the car turns red on the panel with its snapshot, arrival time and duration.

  4. Your officer acts

They know which car, which bay and since when. Every call-out has a reason.

Who it's for

Clamping & enforcement operators

Fewer blind miles; every call-out has a reason.

Retail parks & shopping centres

Spaces that turn over for real customers.

Supermarkets

Parking for shoppers, not commuters.

Residential management companies

Visitor stay limits without constant patrols.

Pricing built around your car parks

The price depends on how many car parks and spaces you want to cover and how you prefer to buy. Tell us about your sites and we'll send you a proposal.

Single-site pilot

We install on one of your sites and measure real occupancy, turnover and overstays before scaling.

Hardware + maintenance

You own the hardware; we maintain and update it.

Monthly per-site service

Hardware, software and support in one fee.

Integration / white label

We adapt it and plug it into your own platform.

It's not personal. It's strictly business.

Privacy by design

  • On-device processing, no continuous video streaming.
  • Only overstay snapshots are kept, with configurable retention.
  • Every deployment includes a DPIA, signage and a GDPR-aligned retention policy.
  • An evidence log that helps handle appeals.

The technology

The software already runs on real footage. The field unit is designed to process the AI next to the camera, in a weatherproof box: no server and no video sent to the cloud.

  • YOLO11 · OpenCV · Python
  • Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5
  • Hailo-10H AI accelerator
  • Outdoor IR IP camera
  • 4G/LTE or PoE Ethernet
  • IP66 weatherproof enclosure

Why on-device

  • Privacy: video never leaves the device
  • Works on limited connectivity
  • Minimal data usage
  • Instant response

Product roadmap

Planned features: not in the prototype yet.

  • Email, SMS and webhook alerts, plus an API for operator software
  • Multi-site web dashboard and enforcement officer app
  • Optional plate recognition (ANPR) as evidence
  • Rules by time of day, reserved bays, disabled bays and permits
  • Model optimised for the Hailo accelerator and 24/7 operation

Clampfather is seeking investment

Clampfather is RobotUNO's own product, currently a working prototype, and it is open to investment. If you're interested, you talk to us directly; the roadmap above sets out the product's next steps.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

It depends on how many car parks and spaces you want to cover and on the model: hardware with maintenance, or a monthly fee per site. Tell us about your sites and we'll send you a proposal.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. We start with a pilot on one of your car parks and measure real occupancy, turnover and overstays before scaling.

Does it need barriers or groundworks?

No. Just an elevated mounting point, power and a 4G or Ethernet connection.

Does it record and store video?

Not continuously. The device analyses the image locally and only keeps a snapshot of each overstay.

Does it work at night?

The camera has IR night vision. Night performance depends on each site's lighting and is validated during the pilot.

How many spaces does one camera cover?

It depends on mounting height and angle. We size it during the site survey.
